Welcome to the Newto News for December of 2024. My name is Zack Cockfield, and my team and I created Newtomedia as a way for visitors or new residents to get information about a city. Each month we bring together resources that will update you on the history, amenities, culture, future opportunities and all other things inside a city that make it unique. We also hope to be a resource for connecting you with people and businesses that can help you live a better life. If you find our efforts useful, please click on the links to get more information!

Palm Coast, Florida, located along the eastern coast of the state, has a rich history dating back to the late 19th century. Originally, the area was mainly made up of forests and swamps, with little development. In the 1960s, the ITT Corporation purchased the land and began to develop it into a planned community. Construction began in 1969, and by 1970, the first homes were being built. Throughout the following decades, Palm Coast continued to grow rapidly, attracting residents with its beautiful beaches, golf courses, and outdoor recreational activities. As the population expanded, so did the city’s infrastructure, with new schools, shopping centers, and parks being added. Today, Palm Coast is a bustling city with a diverse population and a strong economy. It continues to be a popular destination for tourists and new residents looking for a peaceful coastal lifestyle.
