Welcome to the Newto News for March of 2025. My name is Zack Cockfield, and my team and I created Newtomedia as a way for visitors or new residents to get information about a city. Each month we bring together resources that will update you on the history, amenities, culture, future opportunities and all other things inside a city that make it unique. We also hope to be a resource for connecting you with people and businesses that can help you live a better life. If you find our efforts useful, please click on the links to get more information!

Denver, Colorado, originally founded in 1858 as a mining town during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush, quickly grew into a center for trade and commerce in the American West. The city was named after James W. Denver, the governor of the Kansas Territory at the time. By the late 19th century, Denver had become a major hub for the burgeoning railroad industry, connecting the mountain mining towns to the east coast markets. The city continued to grow and prosper throughout the 20th century, attracting new residents and businesses with its booming economy and outdoor recreational opportunities. Today, Denver is known for its vibrant arts and culture scene, world-class dining and breweries, and stunning natural beauty. It has also become a major tech and financial center, attracting young professionals from across the country. Denver’s rich history and modern amenities make it a dynamic and exciting city to live in and visit.
